This tour covers the most famous park in Kenya, Masai Mara National Park. Arriving on a mid- or early-afternoon flight to Kenya is preferred since the first part of the tour takes you from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha (about a 2-hours drive). Masai Mara National Park is famous for its annual wildebeest migration. Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha are freshwater lakes along the Great Rift Valley extension.
You will be picked up from a city hotel or the Nairobi airport and embark on a 2-hour drive to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, you will proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park for a walking safari before returning to the camp for lunch. You can spend the afternoon at leisure on the lake’s shoreline. In addition, you have the option to participate in a 1-hour sunset boat ride at an extra cost. Your dinner and overnight accommodation are at the camp.
After breakfast and checkout at the hotel, you will drive to Lake Nakuru. You will receive a picnic lunch box from the hotel and embark on a game drive across the park searching for animals. Toward the end of the day, you will be driven back to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will depart for Masai Mara National Park via the famous Masai town, Narok. Here, at Narok, you will have an opportunity to experience Masai culture. You will arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp and enjoy lunch. Enjoy a rest after lunch before proceeding on an afternoon game viewing. Your dinner and overnight stay are at the camp.
After breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game viewing across the park with picnic lunch boxes, or you can opt for a morning and afternoon game drive with a hot lunch at the camp. During the day, you will visit the Mara River, where the annual migration occurs. All your meals and overnight stays are at the camp.
After an early morning game drive, you will have breakfast at the camp before checkout and departure to Nairobi. If you have a late flight, you can enjoy another game drive until midday before leaving for Nairobi. In this case, lunch will be charged at an additional cost. Finally, you will be dropped off at the airport or city hotel.
